As Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University International Relations Coordination Office, a visit to Poland was carried out on June 20-27, 2023, to expand the scope of our bilateral agreements and to increase our cooperation with Lublin University of Life Sciences in Lublin, with which we have a high number of student and staff mobility. We have an agreement in the field of Veterinary Medicine with Lublin University of Life Sciences in Lublin, located in the city of Lublin, Poland. This visit has created an important ground for more concrete studies to be carried out between Burdur Mehmet Akif University and the aforementioned university. Additionally, information about the opportunities at our University was provided during the visit, and students and staff were invited to our University within the scope of Erasmus. Throughout the visit, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine lecturer Edyta KOVALCZUK VASILEV accompanied the MAKÜ International Relations team, gave a tour of the Faculty, and provided information about the facilities. Furthermore, a meeting was held with the University's Erasmus office. From the Erasmus office Anna TUSZEWSKA attended to our team and provided information about the University. Our agreement, which was only with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, has also been expanded to include the fields of Food Processing, Biochemistry, Architecture and Urban Planning, and Engineering, Landscape Architecture. With this visit, warmer face-to-face relationships were established with both the office staff and the Faculty representative, and it is aimed to ensure faster communication in document flow from now on. Additionally, the Erasmus Staff Week event, which is organized annually at our University, was mentioned, and it is aimed to ensure participation from this University in the coming years.
